Would Illusory Weapon on an Assassin with daggers and Critical Agility work well? Daggers and Critical Agility provides by far the highest attacking rate of any weapon, so would an A/Me with 10-12 in Illusion bolster the damage output?

No. When IW is up, you never actually 'hit' the target, so no chance of crits, no refresh of Agility, ever.

It works, but its deffanitly NOT good, assassin with an assassin elite is much better

Me/W with daggers and flurry is better.

I would suggest a sword/shield and sword/focus. +16AR/+12nrg and dmg reduction and +hp are better than the small chance of double striking with daggers, not to mention giving you a strong healing sig which uses no energy and heals for a useful amount.

Not much point; a chance to double strike is only usable in the Critical Strikes attribute on an elite skill and with higher dagger mastery.
